Message from Chairman, Organizing Committee

Dear Colleagues,

The International Huaxia Congresses of Endocrinology (IHCE) have been organized since 1999 to promote academic and clinical advancements in Endocrinology. With support from colleagues worldwide and the success of past meetings, the Congress has become an established event in Endocrinology in East Asia. We are proud to announce that the 7th IHCE will be held on November 30 - December 2, 2012 in Hong Kong hosted by the Hong Kong Society of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Reproduction (HKSEMR).

With a steep increase in prevalence of diabetes, obesity, metabolic and endocrine disorders in Asia, the Congress aims to encourage active discussion on these important issues among predominantly ethnic Chinese Endocrinologists. The Congress will encourage exchange of ideas and practical experience for better understanding and management of these diseases. On behalf of the organizing committee, I welcome you all to join us in Hong Kong to achieve such goals.
